Community Soup Kitchen and Outreach Center

Since 1984, the Community Soup Kitchen and Outreach Center has been helping the homeless, working poor and elderly of Morristown, NJ and surrounding communities by serving meals and providing supportive services 365 days a year.  We typically serve over 250 guests per day in a welcoming and safe environment.  Anyone is welcome regardless of financial qualifications or religious beliefs.   In 2008 alone, we served 53,278 meals and through our Outreach Center we provided over 2,800 referrals for additional services to adults and children in need.  So far in 2009, we are serving 33% more meals than at the same time last year.  We need this micro-grant to buy a much needed new commercial stove.  Please donate to see updated video of the purchase, delivery and use of our new stove.  SEE THE CHANGE YOU WISH TO MAKE IN THE WORLD!
